Datamoto provides multi-currency support. This is why there is a currency dropdown at the customer creation in Datamoto. Many times, you want to set a default currency and country which is always pre-selected when you create a new customer or vendor. You can do this in the Datamoto by setting a default country and currency. To set this, you can follow the following steps:

  1. Click on Settings
  2. Click on “You do business in multiple countries. When you add a new client or vendor, you do not want a long dropdown selection for countries and currencies“
  3. Then select country and currency from the dropdown and click on Save

Once the Settings are saved then every time when you create a new Customer or Vendor, it will pre-set country and currency by default. Then when you create Quote, Invoice, Sales Order, or Purchase Order and select a customer or vendor, the currency is automatically set.
