You maintain an inventory with the goods purchased from Vendors. You configure your inventory item with MIN (or alert threshold) and MAX settings. MIN – if your stock level goes below MIN and there is no PO currently approved to replenish then an alert is generated. MAX – the desired stock level for the item or good that you want to maintain.

It is possible that Datamoto generates alerts for multiple items from the same vendor. You want to create a PO from the alert by clicking “Add PO”, but you want to create just a single PO for all alerting items which are from the same Vendor. You can do this in Datamoto. Do the following configurations:

  1. Click on Settings
  2. Click on “Other Purchase Order Configurations”
  3. Then click on ” Combine all the alerted inventory items in a single PO for the same vendor”.

From, now when you click “Add PO” in the inventory alert page, Datamoto will check whether it can create a single PO from alerted items and if possible then it will create just a single PO.
